The IG541 Fire Suppression System reduces combustion temperatures by lowering the oxygen content to a level conducive to combustion. When an IG541 fire suppression system is vented into a room, it introduces the proper mixture of gases to allow people to breathe in an environment with reduced oxygen levels. In essence, it enhances the body's ability to absorb oxygen. Normal atmospheric air in a room contains approximately 21% of oxygen and less than 1% of carbon dioxide.
Most common combustibles will not burn when the oxygen content is reduced below 151 TP3T.The IG541 fire suppression system reduces the oxygen content to approximately 12.51 TP3T while increasing the carbon dioxide content to approximately 31 TP3T.The IG-541 effectively reduces the concentration of oxygen and prevents the combustion reaction from proceeding to extinguish the fire.
II. Advantages
